Uluo

$52.00

ULUŌ (pronounced oo-loo-OH) means momentum in Hawaiian. It is a word that expresses that it is the right time to act or do something. We chose this name because we always feel inspired and motivated when we drink it. There is no better way to start your morning, whether youʻre embarking on a typical day or a grand adventure!

Uluō derives its richly nuanced flavor from the special mix of bean sizes it contains. Instead of separating its harvest into Peaberry, Extra Fancy, Fancy and Prime beans, this farm blends them all together to produce a smooth bouquet of flavors. There is nothing else like it!

Uluō has repeatedly won awards in Kona. We are very proud to offer it to our customers.

We ship freshly roasted whole beans for optimal flavor and freshness.

Uluō is offered in our Medium, Pele and Dark roasts. Read about our roasts.

Coffee Origin

Coffee Farm in Kona, Hawai‘i

ABOUT THE ESTATE

This farm was planted back in 1999, but really began to live up to its potential when it was taken over in 2006 by its current owners. The exacting work they put in allows them to create a unique, high-quality coffee that exceeds the expectations of coffee connoisseurs everywhere. They are serious about making their coffee and their farm as earth-friendly as possible: they make their own naturally enhanced fertilizer, and use a variety of natural methods for pest and weed control. All coffee by-products are composted and returned to the orchards to build new soil.
