TASTING NOTES
“This coffee’s flavor is full of chocolate with tones of sweet red berries and apricots. It’s full bodied, well balanced, with an aroma and fragrance of chocolate and berries and a lingering butter finish. Smooth, without being tarnished by acidic or bitter notes.”

Coffee Origin

Coffee Farm in Kona, Hawai‘i

ABOUT THE ESTATE

This 12-acre lush estate is located in South Kona. Like most land here in Kona, the rocky lava rocks and jungle had to be bulldozed. Three years later, 250 Sharwil avocado trees were planted. Then, between 1995 and 2000, a total of 3,000 coffee trees were planted, patch by patch, among the avocado trees which provide natural shade. Three neighborhood farms have won cupping contests. Over 6 inches of soil has been created through organic practices. The entire 12 acres is Certified Organic, and is cared for by three generations of family members.
